Thank you all for your support this year!
The Formula Student UK (FSUK) 2024 competition at Silverstone was a significant milestone for SUFST. Our team, competing with our first running electric vehicle, successfully passed all stages of scrutineering and participated in a dynamic event; a major achievement in our development journey.
Despite encountering technical challenges, including minor fixable issues with our accumulator charger and a suspension failure during the brake test setup, our team demonstrated resilience and problem-solving skills. We managed to cure a new wishbone on the evening of day 4, allowing us to continue with the competition on the final day.
A crucial aspect of the competition was the opportunity to engage with other teams. Discussing our car's development and learning about the innovations and strategies of others provided invaluable insights. This exchange of ideas not only helped grow our technical knowledge but also grew a collaborative spirit within the formula student community.
The competition highlighted the importance of teamwork, dedication, and continuous learning. Our team's hard work has laid a solid foundation for future improvements and innovations. We are immensely proud of our achievements and the progress we have made.
We extend our thanks to our sponsors, donors, supporters, the university, and the faculty for their unwavering support. Your contributions were crucial to our success at FSUK 2024. Thank you!
