Move in day
The Formula Student UK (FSUK) competition is an annual engineering design event held at Silverstone race track. This year it drew participation from 121 teams worldwide.
Our team started early by packing up the lorry at the university, ensuring all equipment and the race car were securely loaded. After a long drive, we arrived at Silverstone and collected our car parking passes, crucial for access throughout the event.
We got to work unpacking the lorry and setting up the pits, transforming our designated area into a functional workspace with tools and equipment. After setting up the pits, we registered our team's attendance.
Next, we set up the campsite and cooked our first meal (bbq). Before the day ended, we made final checks and adjustments to our car to ensure it was ready for the morning scrutineering.
