The University of Southampton recently hosted its Design Show 2024, an event for students to showcase their engineering projects. This event highlights the innovation within the university, spanning projects from first-year students to postgraduates.
We displayed the current development of our formula student car, Stag X, featuring our "testing livery". The show was a great chance for us to showcase our progression to students, faculty, and team sponsors.
Some of our sponsors were able to attend the event, including Mitutoyo UK Ltd, Extreme Signs Ltd, Norelem, Novatura and Harefield Jewellery. The support from all our sponsors has been instrumental in enabling us to push the progress of this car.
We will soon unveil the car's "Competition Livery", ready to compete at the IMechE Formula Student UK competition at Silverstone Race Track.
